The Fondazione De Rigo H.E.ART Onlus for gender equity

Gender equality represents a battle to be fought on a global level. With this in mind, the Fondazione De Rigo H.E.ART Onlus has chosen to support an important women's empowerment project in Ethiopia. 
A project for the founding of a school for company secretaries, which has been greatly desired and promoted by The Salesians of Don Bosco in collaboration with the Associazione Amici di Adamitullo E.T.S., a town-twinning between Padua-Italy and Addis Ababa-Ethiopia. 

The project envisages the opening of a school of 20 female-only classes, dedicated to training young girls to develop business secretarial skills. 

A valuable and tangible initiative to support the emancipation of women in a country where anti-feminist social and economic inequality continues to represent a significant problem. 
In fact, many girls have real difficulty finding suitable and decent work, which would enable them to become self-sufficient.

A school, therefore, to promote the work of women as an individual affirmation and provide them with the freedom to make their own decisions in life, but also as an important element of transformation for a society where women are still struggling to assert their rights.
